Through partner and group workshops, movement exercises, and excursions in the rainforest, you will have the opportunity to deepen your connection to yourself, to others, and to the beautiful nature surrounding you. This is not only a chance to build on your relationship with your partner, but it is also a chance to build nourishing, lifelong friendships with people who are on intersecting and resonant life paths.
Curiosity
As you adventure through the rainforest and find yourself amongst monkeys, birds and tons of other wildlife, you will have the opportunity to return to your inner child, tapping into that pure sense of wonder and playfulness. We will give you the space to channel this curiosity back into your relationship, seeing it with a fresh pair of eyes and igniting more fire, romance and passion around paths that have never been explored together before.
Please note: This retreat is not psychological counseling. We are here to guide you through an immersive experience that can evoke new ways of thinking, being, and doing.

Accommodations: Your own private villa, offering a sanctuary for you and your partner to recharge and reconnect
Food: Fresh and healthy meals prepared by our in-house chef
Transportation: All transportation from arrival to departure, with private pick-up and drop-off at Liberia Airport and rides to and from every excursion
Personal Development: In-house activities like Acroyoga, guided meditations, couple’s connection exercises, and group workshops
Adventure & Culture Exploration: Outside excursions including a behind-the-scenes coffee tour, heart-pounding waterfall rappelling, and a serene guided hike through the ethereal beauty of Rio Celeste
Relaxation: Unstructured free time to explore the property, rest and relax by the pool, and reflect on your experience with your partner
Where You’re Staying + Rates
Each couple will have their own private villa on the expansive, 13 acre property. Each villa comes with it’s own en suite bathroom and is a short walk to the private pool as well as the main flagship villa offering panoramic views of Lake Arenal and the surrounding rainforest.

Early bird rate: $5,200* per couple
Regular rate: $6,000 per couple

Our Story
Costa Rica is the place where the three of us fell in love—with the land, each other, and the "pura vida" lifestyle. Josh and Ariel built the foundation of their relationship here and met Carlena, who became a trusted, soul-nourishing friend. Costa Rica has become a second home to each of us, offering a sense of peace and presence that continues to draw us back.
We are inspired by the deep respect Costa Ricans have for their land and the creatures that inhabit it. They work with the land, not against it, embracing a way of life that is one with the natural world. Costa Rica is more than a beautiful destination for us; it's a place that inspires authentic expression, kindness, and appreciation for the simple things in life.
We are grateful to be able to blend our strengths in creating this transformational retreat experience.
Ariel, an executive coach and seasoned retreat leader, will be facilitating powerful partner and group workshops.
Carlena, a resident of Costa Rica and founder of Nature Ways Travel is channeling her knowledge and love of the land to create a dynamic itinerary full of culturally immersive excursions and local activities.
Josh, your in-house chef, will be sourcing local ingredients to prepare vibrant, nourishing meals that have been influenced by his travels throughout Costa Rica.
